Eric D. Nelson. He is a native of Georgia. He has two great kids' daughter and son with an extension of 2 girls and 1 son. He enjoys various sports along with watching lots of action, drama and horror movies.

At Southeastern University, He received a Bachelor in Psychology, Masters' in Psychology, M.B.A. in Business Management and currently holds a PhD. In Organizational Psychology, his goal is to show others how to help themselves and live positive strong healthy lives within the work force environment. He is involved in The Center for Progressive Leadership program for State Political Leaders Fellowship. He is currently pursuing a PHD in Religious and Theological Studies to teach the word of God.

He has worked as a marriage counselor while serving as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force. He owns an insurance company & investment firm. He is an active member of the American Legion Post 30, NAACP, and National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ); Board of Directors, Denver Mayor's African American Commission (DAAC), Bennie E. Goodwin After School Academic Program for youth (BEGASAP), and Colorado Prince Hall Foundation for Youth (CPHF). As well as an active free-mason, served as Treasurer and now Chaplain/Lecture, and went on to become a member of The Holy Royal Arch (PHA), Knights Templar (PHA), Shriner (PHA), and Scottish Rite Mason (Denver Consistory) which all includes charitable work and community involvement. He is also a Life member of the Scottish Rite Foundation for Youth.

Dr. Nelson is looking to expand his services to ensure there is more diversity in the classrooms and that African American and Minority students have the tools they need to deal with issues through focus groups, student retreats, internships and collaborating with other colleges and universities.

He feels anyone with a positive mental attitude that tries hard enough and aim high they will achieve success.
