MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND MASTER'S BIOGRAPHY

FREDRICK D. BLUE

Brother Blue was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he completed his formal education and graduated from Polytechnic High School . He is the oldest of eight children.

Shortly after graduating from high school and undecided about which career path to pursue, he joined the U.S. Army and served with distinction for twenty years. His military career provided him the opportunity to travel to the Pars East and Europe where he patrolled both the DMZ and the East-West German Borders. He also served in Viet Nam from 1968 to 1969. It was during his second tour in the Republic of South Korea , 1970, whe he decided to follow in the foot steps of his late Grandfather by becoming a Mason and was raised to a Master Mason in Prince Hall Military Lodge #21.

Brother Blue joined the Colorado Jurisdiction in 1984 and has been a very active member of the Colorado Prince Hall Masonic Family. He served as Worshipful Master of Mountain Post Military Lodge #26 in 1988 when the Lodge was selected as Lodge of the Year, He is a charter member of Randall A. Baker Chapter No. 2 Holy Royal Arch Masons, Prince of Peace Knights Templar Commandery No. 2, and Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Mason of Colorado and Jurisdiction. He is a Past Most Excellent Grand High Priest of Colorado Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Masons and Past Grand Eminent Commander of Colorado Grand Commandery Knight Templar PHA. Brother Blue is also a member of Pikes Peak Consistory No. 81 and Kadesia Temple No. 135, and received his Thirty-Third Degree in 1999.

After retiring from the U.S. Army, he continued his education and received an Associate of Arts 88 and Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and completed some Graduate study in Public Administration. He has been employed with the U.S. Air Force since 19 currently employed as a Contracting Specialist with a Level III Certification.

Brother Blue hase been married to his room mate Frances for over 40 years and they are the proud parents of one Daughter, Leila. He is often seen accompanied by his Grandson, Jason, a.k.a. Professor.
